lison Logan is an artist and illustrator.
SOLO & GROUP EXHIBITS
She earned her BFA in Illustration from Daemen College in Amherst, NY. She has also studied with Warren Chang, Tony Rider, and Donato Giancola.
Noting the eclectic nature of her work, she says, “I don’t like being confined to making art one way. I enjoy working in a variety of mediums, so why not paint and draw in a variety of styles? It keeps things more interesting for me, and, I think, more interesting for the viewer.”
Logan has taught at Illustration and Fashion Design at Nossi College of Art and the International Academy of Design and Technology, and she spent 12 years teaching art at Battle Ground Academy.
She is a commissioned portrait artist as well as a member of The Portrait Society of America.
Her current body of work explores the human form in dream-like, emotional landscapes. Begun through a personal loss, the images give a nod to illustration, Art Nouveau and Surrealism.
